MEET AARON
Aaron Reader is a storyteller at heart—whether he's behind the mic, on stage, or in a boardroom. As the Director of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Access at Seattle Theatre Group, a nationally recognized motivational speaker, a spoken word artist, actor, and now host of the podcast From Dad, With Love, Aaron brings his full self to every space he enters: honest, hilarious, and deeply human.

Born and raised in East Oakland, California, Aaron’s story began in a neighborhood surrounded by violence and adversity. He was told he wouldn’t make it past 18. But through every hardship—from an abusive home to a system that underestimated him—he fought to rewrite the narrative. Not only did he become the first in his family to graduate from college, but he also earned a master’s degree in Counseling Psychology, blazing a trail for others to follow.

With over 15 years of experience in higher education, Aaron has dedicated his life to helping young people discover who they are, what they believe in, and how to stand in their power. He has educated thousands of students and professionals across the country, challenging them to lead with love, integrity, and authenticity.

Aaron’s podcast, From Dad, With Love, is a heartfelt and hilarious look into fatherhood. With vulnerability, humor, and real-life lessons, he shares what it means to be a present father of two, a loving husband, and a man who’s still learning every day. It’s more than a podcast—it’s a reminder that none of us have it all figured out, but we’re stronger when we show up for each other.

Whether performing spoken word for politicians and celebrities, starring in national commercials, or leading transformative workshops, Aaron’s mission remains the same: to be the voice he once needed—and to help others uncover the strength that’s already inside them.

Let’s meet where you are—and grow forward, together.
